Fall Sports Regular Season Winding Down
Bulldog Football and Bulldog Volleyball both have some big conference matchups coming up this weekend.

It's a big weekend in WHS sports coming up as the fall sports season is starting to wind down. The football team has just two regular season games left while the volleyball team has two weekends of games left.
First, in football the Bulldogs will travel to Torrington to face the Blazers coming up this Friday. The Bulldogs enter into the game 6-1 while Torrington enters the game 5-2. So, the game is a crucial conference showdown for the Bulldogs in terms of postseason seeding. Both teams are fighting to keep from having to make a long road trip in the first round of the playoffs. The kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday. We'll be covering the game on 101.7 The Zoo as well as on WheatlandRadio.com. Our coverage will begin at approximately 6:15 PM. In volleyball, the Lady Bulldogs have three matches this week while they'll have just one coming up next week. This week, the Lady Bulldogs will play Douglas in Douglas coming up on Thursday 10/16. That match starts at 6:00 PM. On Friday they'll play Torrington in Torrington for a match there starting at 4:00 PM. Then on Saturday they'll play Burns at home at 2:00 PM. We'll have results from all of the volleyball action coming up in this space on Monday.
